On May 24, 2021 Bradley Hope, an award winning journalist for the Wall Street Journal and author of the best selling book, "Blood and Oil: Mohammed bin Salman's Ruthless Quest for Global Power", wrote a long form article detailing Christopher's story.
Bradley and Christopher sat for many hours where he asked me questions about his life, how he got involved with Cheollima Civil Defense and it's evolution into Free Joseon, the rescue of Kim Han Sol, and the attempted defection of the North Korean embassy members in Madrid, Spain.
The title doesn't really sit right with us because we have never considered Christopher a "fall guy" and that description of his story misses the point of what is happening, but Bradley confessed that he had little control over the title of the piece and obviously, Buzzfeed likes more "provocative" titles to encourage clicks.
Outside of that, Bradley did a very good job recounting Christopher's story and we are appreciative of his willingness to listen and understand rather than jumping to the easiest conclusions.
